CM KCR to launch Dharani on Dasara

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will launch the much-awaited Dharani portal on the auspicious occasion of Dasara next month. He directed the officials concerned to complete all the preparations including software, hardware and also internet bandwidth before launching the portal as per schedule. Immediately after the website is launched, the government will also open the doors for registration of lands and other properties as per the new Revenue Act. During a preparatory meeting with the officials concerned at Pragathi Bhavan on Saturday, Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao asked them to conduct necessary training to the Tahsildars, Deputy Tahsildars and Sub-Registrars on the modalities of registration, immediate mutation, updatation of details to the Dharani portal and other procedures. Accordingly, demo trials also will be conducted to create awareness among the authorities on the functioning and operation of the website. They also have been directed to complete recruitment of a computer operator in each office of the sub-registrars and the Tahsildars across the State. The Chief Minister also wanted the registration values of lands to be finalised as per the survey numbers across the State, before the launch of the Dharani portal and carry out the land or property registrations as per the fixed charges. Simultaneoulsy, licenses will be issued to document writers and training will be provided for them to work at the offices of the Tahsildars and the sub-registrars. Further, the officials were instructed to complete updation of online records of both agricultural and non-agricultural properties in the Dharani portal. He also wanted the website to be fully ready to carry out necessary changes as the registrations pick up pace. He clarified that no registrations or revenue transactions will be allowed till the portal is launched.
